My name is Côme Laguë and I am the founder and a Managing Partner at Nueva Ventures, a Silicon Valley based micro-cap venture capital firm focused on seed and early stage investing.

I started Nueva Ventures in 2005, as one of the first of a new genre of venture firms meeting the needs of entrepreneurs who choose to launch their startups with less capital. Our mantra is to keep burn low by creatively using resources, release early and often, prove out the model then ramp, and maintain flexible exit options.

Before founding Nueva, I was an entrepreneur during which I co-founded two telecommunications startups in Africa in the wireless sector (Adesemi) and VoIP sector (CDR International), and was an early member of the executive teams of a consumer Internet (LearningBrands) and ultra-mobile computer (OQO) startup.
